relax
If I joke about plane fares
and you call it an attack
Relax , rest easy there's still time.
If you thought that no one heard you
when you said you gave it all
Relax and rest. you still have time
When you spoke out and thought
that no one heard your voice
we said relax and give it time
Then you said you loved her
like no other ever loved her
you could relax if you had the time.
But time is short and mean and hard
and after death you can relax
given time past and given love
still, the past is done; be still.
Relax there still is time.
and you call it an attack
