One is a dragon on the wing
the other a butterfly.
Each reaches for the sky
all the way home.
While I pour wine
you watch them
as you would jets
flying over the airbase.
Your eyes seeking
daring arrangements
aeronautic maneuvers.
At night
moth wings
take off from their stems
heading for
Wright-Patterson.
