How my soil
doth thirst,
and how I crave
to burst.
Send a drop
of water
from the sky,
as I feel so dry.
Let rain drops
ease my pain,
for without it
I'd go insane.
Be tender and gentle
with what you give,
as every part of me
wants to live.
Roll down from
the Mountains
and fill up my rivers,
before the Wintry shivers.
Then I can turn
into ice,
and melt me back
into somethig nice.
Without a drop of water
this life is hell,
so please fill up
my Well.
Don't abandon me
to where nothing can grow,
for my solitude would be
more than I know.
I must pour forth
and flow,
back to the Sea
that I love so.
doth thirst,
and how I crave
to burst.
Send a drop
of water
from the sky,
as I feel so dry.
Let rain drops
ease my pain,
for without it
I'd go insane.
Be tender and gentle
with what you give,
as every part of me
wants to live.
Roll down from
the Mountains
and fill up my rivers,
before the Wintry shivers.
Then I can turn
into ice,
and melt me back
into somethig nice.
Without a drop of water
this life is hell,
so please fill up
my Well.
Don't abandon me
to where nothing can grow,
for my solitude would be
more than I know.
I must pour forth
and flow,
back to the Sea
that I love so.
