  Ah, thank you for posting!! I just joined this tribe and been wanting to get my work published!! Haven't had alot of cash and not trusted too many websites, so any suggestions are helpful!!

    might also want to check out Writer's Digest.
    
    the magazines often have articles on the subject (most libraries carry them) and they also publish books on the subject.
    
    I would think that you could pick up a copy of the used ones, on Amazon, for just a few bucks, plus shipping...
